Ironworker

Turnkey Processing Solutions, LLC is looking for Ironworkers. The Ironworker will be a part of our mobile crew, who work at various project locations. Per Diem is paid in addition to hourly wage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements.
• Raise, place, and unite iron or steel girders, columns, and other structural materials to form completed structures or structural frameworks.
• Install metal structural components, equipment, or systems.
• Operate cranes, hoists, or other moving or lifting equipment.
• Signal equipment operators to indicate proper equipment positioning.
• Verify alignment of structures or equipment.
• Cut, weld, and position metal components.
• Assemble/dismantle temporary equipment or structures.
• Position safety or support equipment.
• Initiate and maintain good housekeeping practices in all work areas.
• Complies with all MSHA, OSHA, company, and customer safety policies, procedures and regulations.
• In addition, may perform all duties of General Laborer, Skilled Laborer.
• Travel required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience as an ironworker.
• Experience with welding preferred.
• Able to read blueprint and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Able to look at flat drawings or pictures and visualize how they would look as assembled equipment.
• Knows hand signals for crane operation.
• Ability to work at heights.
• High awareness of Safety at all times, constant awareness of others' safety as well as your own.
• Agree to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the company.
• Must be able and willing to travel.
• Ability to work in special environments, special shift hours, and/or mandatory overtime.
• Successfully pass pre-employment drug test, motor vehicle record check, background check, and physical/occupational screenings.
