Major domestic and international law firm seeks a Intellectual Property Litigation savvy Associate Attorney (JD class of 2017 or 2018 or 2019 or 2020 or 2021 or 2022) to join its expanding New York team.
Candidate will have the following: 1-6 years of experience in patent litigation within a major law firm setting (experience will be current or very recent) ; Significant experience handling substantive patent issues with the ability to learn underlying pharmaceutical and/or biologic related subject matter ; Experience counseling clients involved in transactions, investigations, litigation, intellectual property matters and regulatory challenges.
Stellar academic credentials (Law Review and/or Moot Court accolades) ; A technical degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or Pharmaceutics preferred ; Strong drafting, research, and verbal & written communication skills required ; NY Bar.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Providing a full range of cutting-edge IP services, including representation in patent and trademark prosecution, litigation and alternative dispute resolution, and business and licensing transactions.
-Counseling clients involved in transactions, investigations, litigation, intellectual property matters and regulatory challenges.
-Representing clients in all types of trade practice claims under both federal and state laws: trademark, service mark, and trade dress infringement; dilution; unfair competition; counterfeiting; cybersquatting; and unfair advertising cases.
