Job Description
Our national AmLaw100 client has an opening in multiple officesfor an Intellectual Property/Life Science Attorney and is actively interviewing.
We are looking for the following characteristics:
- The firm is in search of a junior to mid-level patent associate for its Intellectual Property group. The position is open to candidates across the country, and preference for office location can be specified during the application process.
- The ideal candidate should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in Life Sciences, including evaluating patent portfolios, conducting due diligence investigations, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, and managing patent portfolios.
- Applicants must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, with a strong background in scientific fields relevant to biotechnology. Bar admission in the state of residence is a requirement, and an advanced degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or Immunology is desired.
- Prior experience in a law firm setting is mandatory. Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills are essential, and candidates with leadership abilities and a comfort level in direct client interactions are preferred.
