The Internet of Things (IoT) Client Executive will be responsible for solution selling, business development, and sales relationship management building within an assigned territory. Build deep, consultative technical relationships with customers, effectively becoming a trusted adviser. Responsible for guiding customers in enabling IoT Solutions including consultative discussions on Module selection, Interface, Certification/Registration Options and IoT Platforms. This role will expand sales opportunities through strategic networking, facilitating negotiations, and closing sales.
- Develop and execute on comprehensive sales and go to market strategy, defining solutions, target customer segments, target accounts, and routes to market in order to drive overarching business development and sales activities in terms of IoT.
- Prepare/maintain sales forecasts and forecast pipeline, account status reports, and make recommendations to enhance account growth and new revenue potential to meet or exceed sales quota.
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices.
- Owning the technical relationship with customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
- Lead prioritization of customer solution / technical requirements and champion resolution of solution / product gaps internally.
- Work directly with customers to create solutions and use cases that leverage product integrations that generate business value.
- Develop individual skill set and expand product knowledge to maximize value and to deliver quality services to our clients.
Salary Range $96000 - $153501 / yearly
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 5-7 years' experience as a Sales Executive with experience at all levels of solution selling, business development, and sales relationship management.
- 3-5 years' experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
- Demonstrated experience leading the development of complex solutions and implementations involving marketing, operational, engineering, and integrated technical solutions.
- A creative problem solver with the ability to ask key critical questions in defining product scope, evaluating the feasibility, completeness, and quality of product offerings desired.
- Experience architecting and developing LAN/WAN or large infrastructure and network solutions for enterprise customers.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Experience in sales account management practices.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work efforts simultaneously in a dynamic work environment.
- Advanced business and financial acumen.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to travel 40-50% of the time over an expansive geographic area.
