Ios Engineer

PLANOLY is the industry-leading social marketing platform trusted by over 8 million users to visually plan, schedule and measure performance across multiple social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, Linkedin, X, and Pinterest. We are looking for a thoughtful, well-rounded iOS Engineer to join a rapidly growing startup and work on an application that brands, influencers, celebrities, agencies and marketing firms are using every day.

What You Will Do:

• Deliver across the entire app life cycle for our native iOS applications – concept, design, build, test, and release to the App Store.
• Create compelling iOS-specific user interfaces and experiences.
• Collaborate closely with teams of engineers, designers, product owners, and cross-functional users.
• Own projects that have a significant impact on the business.

Who You Are (Must have):

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience building software in Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Experience with Architectural Design Patterns such as MVVM.
• Track record of publishing apps to the App Store.
• Deep understanding of a variety of iOS libraries & frameworks (SwiftUI, UIKit, Notifications/IAP, Codable, async/await etc).
• Experience with Dependency management via Swift Package Manager and/or Cocoapods.
• Experience with Unit Testing and maintaining high-quality code.
• Experience with client/server architectures, API, syncing and caching patterns.
• Experience with app distribution tools such as Firebase App Distribution.
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Bitrise.
• Experience using git with Bitbucket or similar.

Bonus Skills and Experience (Nice to have)

• GraphQL
• Experience with working with image and video processing
• TechOps / infrastructure systems such as Amazon Web Services
• Deep understanding of the Social Media landscape.
