About The Job
BILT is seeking a Software Engineer (iOS) to join our growing Engineering team and build out the next generation of our platform. We are looking for a talented and experienced iOS Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, and continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality software development.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Maintain code integrity and organization.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field required with 3-5 years of experience.
- Proven working experience in software development.
- 2 + years Working experience in iOS development (Swift and Objective-C).
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, ARKit, RealityKit, etc.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
- Knowledgeable of application and system architecture, UI/UX, networking and performance optimization
- Eye for design, a strong sense of user experience and a high level of craftsmanship
- High level of experience working on consumer-facing products, writing both UI & business/backend logic
- Insight of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.
- Knowledge of cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Expertise in benchmarking and optimization.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Experience with continuous integration.
- Due to contractual agreement a US Citizenship or permanent residency is required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. Work sponsorship will not be provided.
