Duties/Responsibilities:
- Driver App Development:
- Design and implement features for the Driver app, ensuring a smooth and user-friendly experience for drivers.
- ntegrate with backend services to support real-time tracking, route optimization, and communication with the central system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and refine app functionalities.
- Inventory App Development:
- Develop the Inventory app, allowing pickers to scan items using a barcode scanner for efficient inventory management.
- Implement features that facilitate easy scanning, sorting, and updating of inventory data.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless and intuitive user interface.
- Barcode Scanning Integration:
- Integrate barcode scanning functionality into both apps, providing a reliable and efficient method for item identification.
- Optimize barcode scanning processes for speed and accuracy. User Authentication and Security:
- Implement secure user authentication mechanisms to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of user data.
- Work on data encryption and protection features to enhance app security.
- Performance Optimization:
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks to ensure smooth operation of both apps on various iOS devices.
- Conduct regular testing and debugging to maintain high performance standards.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with backend developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in iOS app development, with a strong portfolio of released applications.
- Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages
- Experience with barcode scanning and integration.
- Knowledge of iOS UI/UX design principles.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend integration
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with geolocation services and mapping APIs.
- Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
- Previous experience in logistics or inventory management app development.
