This public academic health science company is working together to develop a cutting-edge stroke rehabilitation application on iOS system. This innovative app leverages the power of computer vision, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to revolutionize telemedicine for rehabilitation. Utilizing these technologies, the application aims to provide remote yet highly effective rehabilitative support to stroke survivors. They are looking to bring on a senior iOS application Developer as they work to transfer the application to the latest version of iOS.

JOB SUMMARY: *** IOS DEVELOPER - SWFT, AWS, UI DESIGN EXP ***

Under general direction, this position is responsible for building a native iOS application based on the Node.js web application currently has. Assure that ML pipeline is properly applied to the patients, and data are collected and stored in our internal AWS server. Assists in providing solutions to problems utilizing more efficient operational procedures, workflow, and information technology solutions.

MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:

-Application Development: Lead the design and development of the iOS stroke rehabilitation application. This includes translating the existing Node.js web application to a native iOS app using Swift, ensuring high performance, reliability, and seamless user experience.

-Machine Learning Integration: Collaborate with the AI/ML team to integrate and optimize machine learning models within the iOS application, ensuring accurate and efficient data processing for rehabilitative exercises.

-Data Management: Oversee the secure and efficient handling of patient data, including storage, retrieval, and analysis, in compliance with healthcare regulations. Ensure integration with AWS for cloud storage and data management.

-User Interface Design: Design and implement an intuitive and accessible user interface, tailored for stroke survivors, to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

-Testing and Optimization: Conduct comprehensive testing of the application, including user acceptance testing, to identify and fix bugs. Optimize the app for various iOS devices and ensure compatibility with the latest iOS versions.

-Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with healthcare professionals, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure the app meets clinical and technical requirements. Provide regular progress reports and insights on application development and performance.

-Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of new iOS features and advancements in AI and machine learning and incorporate these into the app for continuous improvement and innovation.

Healthcare Understanding: Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in developing medical or healthcare-related applications is a big plus.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and 5 years related experience.
