Investor Lending Consultant

Come join us on our journey to serve our customers and be the leader in the Business Purpose Lending industry!  We are currently looking for an Investor Lending Consultant to join our Constructive Capital team. This is a Remote role.

As the Investor Lending Consultant (ILC) you will proactively solicit investors of non-owner-occupied properties to meet established loan quality and production goals.  In this ongoing sales role, you will continually work with referral sources provided by Constructive Capital and self-generated loan opportunities to assist customers in Fix and Flip loan, Refinance, and/or Purchase loan originations.  

The ILC will also respond to customer inquiries and referrals that are generated from both company-provided leads as well as self–sourced referring partners.  The ILC conducts interviews with prospective customers to analyze financial and credit data, determine customer financing objectives, advise customers of product/pricing policies and guidelines, and gather any additional required information. The ILC ensures exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, demonstrating a commitment to professional ethics, complying with all Federal and State compliance policies, and adhering to HMDA requirements. 

What you will do for Constructive Capital:

• The ILC sets proper expectations with the customer during the loan application process and responds timely to inquiries 
• Effectively utilize lead management system to properly track and manage leads provided daily
• Evaluate loan applications and documentation for creditworthiness, liquid reserves, and net worth
• Review / Analyze credit, financial data, and business structures 
• Determine customer financing objectives and goals
• Collect supporting loan documentation as required and provide a complete package for processing
• Present appropriate loan products and programs and explain guidelines
• Maintain a high level of customer service by clearly communicating terms of loan options, following up, and always being available to answer questions
• Maintain and follow compliance standards for Clean Desk Policy and borrower-sensitive information
• Continue to remain updated on industry news, new loan programs, and product/guideline updates
• Possess deep knowledge of commercial loan processing, underwriting, and closing procedures
• Proactively manage loan pipelines and attend internal sales meetings
• Attend virtual and in-person conferences and workshops to develop a business referral network and expand customer base 
• Execute a professional social media strategy to proactively attract and develop relationships with brokers and investors.
• Perform all job functions in accordance with Constructive Capital’s  policies and procedures

 What you will bring to Constructive Capital:

• High school diploma/GED required; College degree preferred
• Ability to utilize pricing sheets, and product guidelines, and convey accurate information to customers
• Knowledge of business structures like LLC, LP, SP, and others
• Proven ability to adapt to a changing environment while maintaining a positive mental attitude
• Strong sales skills with a proven track record; Preferably in the mortgage or business purpose lending industries.
• A high level of aptitude and self-discipline to work both in a remote call center environment and face-to-face with customers
• Proficient computer and keyboard aptitude; familiarity with basic Office applications
• Hands-on knowledge of the loan origination process
