Duties and responsibilities include essential functions of positions assigned to this classification. Depending on assignment, the employee may perform a combination of some or all the following duties:
- Use management reports and tools to set daily, weekly, and monthly individual and team-based production goals.
- Provide regular performance feedback and coaching and conduct annual performance appraisals.
- Oversee and evaluate the day-to-day performance of each investigator and resolve production and/or quality issues as they arise.
- Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Identify trends and assess opportunities to improve processes at the investigator, manager, and company levels.
- Help the sales team up-sell or cross-sell services and products.
- Monitor and control expenses and budgets, including weekly timesheets, paid time off, and team overtime and travel costs.
- Strategically and proactively hire qualified investigators to maximize efficiency and profit.
- Identify training needs for the field investigators and implement procedures to fulfill those needs.
- Adjust case priorities and staff assignments as needed to achieve team and client performance objectives and goals.
- Proactively assist, coach, and educate co-workers as needed.
- Carefully supervises the details and quality of own and others' work. Provide information timely and usable to others who need to act on it.
- Ability to work evenings/ weekends based on business needs.

- Computer literate.
Educational/Experience Qualifications:
- Proven supervisory experience with direct reports working remotely in a city, state or regional field setting.
- Managed 15 or more direct reports for three years or more.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
