This position would be a part of the Production, Planning and Control organization as an inventory control and material handling associate responsible for kitting hardware and preparing it for use on the production line, transporting materials to and from the production buildings, and proper handling of inventory containers to include empty ones that are recycled back to the supplier, packaging and shipment preparation of inventory that is required to ship from the site and other duties as assigned. This is a full time position working within the main warehouse and in between the production buildings on site. Responsibilities will require working outdoors during the preparation of material for transport and may entail long periods of standing/walking and requires specialized conductive footwear. Operation of a forklift will also be required.Basic Qualifications:
- Successful completion of the Ready to
program required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Experience/proficiency of desktop computing
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted
- Ability to be certified to operate a forklift
- Excellent interpersonal and communication
- Willingness to work alternate shifts and overtime hours as required
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a
secret clearance prior to starting.
- **Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of
(“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to
be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or
other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF
regulations. Failure to obtain and retain
employee possessor status may result in
revocation of an offer and loss of employment
