The Inventory TechnicianI performs a variety of support services to assist in receiving and storing materials, maintaining inventory control, and maintaining order and cleanliness in the storerooms.
Responsibilities:- Receive materials into general stores and place stock in proper location.
- Work with other purchasing personnel to unpack, label, shelve, and distribute materials.
- Review supply requests and check availability of stock. Alerts supervisor to any stock deficits or materials in need of reorder.
- Cover for other purchasing/receiving personnel in ensuring the needs of the clinical areas are met.
- Deliver supplies from storage areas to Broadway campus as needed.
- Properly prepare and stage supply items for delivery to off-campus locations.
- Attend all mandatory training sessions, year-end inventory functions and department meetings.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE:
No previous experience required, but knowledge of inventory processes preferred.
