Inventory Specialist
Chileda's mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with cognitive and behavior challenges. Chileda's goal is to help students increase their appropriate social behaviors and develop independent living skills, through an enriched learning environment and individualized behavior programming. We are now accepting applications for an Inventory Specialist.
Summary:
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for tracking inventory levels for the entire building and advising the appropriate party when orders are needed. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for the stock of special diet foods, residential supplies and essential goods, and managing student clothing inventory.
Status Info:
This is a part-time position.
Skills: Candidates should be highly organized and able to adapt for a fast-paced office environment. Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Duties Include:
- Complete weekly and monthly inventories, including counting supplies, completing inventory sheets, and stocking inventory supplies.
- Work closely with the Office Assistant, Case Managers, Director of Residential Services, and House Managers to ensure supplies and clothing are adequately stocked.
- Ensure Special Diet foods are appropriately stocked and in designated location.
- Managing student clothing and ensuring that clothing essentials are appropriately stocked.
Education Requirements: Must possess a high school diploma and be at least 18 years old at time of hire.
