SalaryRole and Responsibilities
§ Participate in Inventory control activities in a distribution center environment
§ Lead inventory accuracy efforts including cycle count, stock check and other processes
§ Update ERP and other systems with accurate inventory information
§ Work with sales and other company departments to resolve inventory discrepancies.
§ Develop recommendations for system and process improvements
§ Back up as necessary the assistant warehouse manager including managing various shipping processes and systems
§ Ensure company wide inventory management policies are adhered to
§ Be responsible for calculating and performing critical inventory adjustments in ERP and other systems
§ Update sales and other company departments on sales order status in the distribution center
§ Perform other ad hoc inventory analysis and work as assigned by the company.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Distribution industry experience in similar position a plus
4 year college degree in business, operations or supply chain or equivalent industry experience preferred
Preferred Skills
Excellent communication skills including interdepartmental communication, telephone and written
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Experience with Sage ERP systems a plus
Analytical aptitude and approach to projects
