Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Inventory Manager, this position provides warehouse support with a variety of clerical and customer service activities and related tasks for the Bloomfield Warehouse.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Generate purchase orders for warehouse parts and field supplies and place orders with appropriate vendors.
- Ensure that appropriate inventory quantities are on hand at all times.
- Receive, count, and stock items; larger shipments require the operation of the forklift.
- Post and receive purchase orders using a computer.
- Pull parts for field technicians and record transactions using a computer.
- Generate counter sales for walk-in customers and record transactions on the computer.
- Prepare various inventory reports.
- Occasionally drive to retrieve parts from vendors or deliver parts to customers and field technicians.
- Assist in counting warehouse and truck inventories.
- Sweep, dust, mop, and organize warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times.
- Prepare parcels for mailing and larger items for shipping.
- Perform other clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and filing.

- Ability to analyze information in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies.
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
- Ability to locate information in parts and repair manuals, in print, and on computer.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to perform basic math functions.
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Occasional weekend and call-out coverage.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Two years or more related experience and/or training.
Knowledge of gas compression equipment preferred.
Experience with warehouse database systems (i.e. Maximo) preferred.
Must have a valid clear driver's license.

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
