We’ve been in business for over 60 years and currently have two large showrooms located in Fenton, MO and Shiloh, IL.

Position:

Wilke Window & Door, Inc. is currently hiring for the full-time position of Inventory Specialist in Shiloh, Illinois. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring sufficient inventory stock and conducting routine audits of inventory data.

Strong record keeping and product maintenance skills required. 2-3 years of professional experience with inventory preferred.

This position works closely with the Warehouse Manager protecting inventory from damage, loss and theft. Also, the Inventory Specialist will work with the purchasing and accounting departments to ensure proper inventory controls and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of inventory control.
• Maintain a warehouse inventory management system
• Manages and creates inventory control processes
• Manages and coordinates returns
• Maintains adequate inventory levels and appropriate control
• Responsible for keeping stock items and parts in an organized manner
• Generates distribution of monthly reports, summarizing inventory accuracy through the use of cycle counts
• Provides accurate report numbers to designated departments
• Reconciles all inventory discrepancies
• Communicates with Warehouse Manager, Purchasing, and Accounting regarding inventory issues
• Provides constant feedback to Warehouse Manager regarding operational accuracy in areas such as inventory, shipping and receiving
• Manages special projects as required

Requirements:

• 2 - 3 years professional experience with inventory required
• Related degree preferred but not required
• Proficient with MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong record keeping skills
• Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers
• Must possess a high degree of organizational and time management skills.
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills required.
