The Role:
We are currently seeking an SOS Personal Property Specialist to join our team. As a Personal Property Specialist, you will be responsible for managing on-site insurance property claims, inventory assignments, and promoting good customer relations with adjusters. You will work closely with our Field and Service Managers to ensure operational excellence and achieve corporate goals.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct and manage on-site insurance property claim inventory assignments in compliance with our field inventory processes.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships with adjusters and ensure repeat business.
- Communicate with your Field Manager and Service Manager on a daily basis regarding operational issues or improvements.
- Complete all assigned tasks in a diligent manner consistent with facility or operational goals.
- Adhere to all standard operating and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Be willing to take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

- Ability to present yourself in a professional manner, both in personal appearance and vehicle cleanliness.
- Ability to work in adverse conditions such as post-loss insurance claims.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent personal organization and leadership skills.
- Results-oriented with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Property and Casualty claim experience is a plus.
- Restoration experience is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to site locations within your geographic area.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds without physical restrictions.
- Ability to work independently of direct onsite supervision.
- Must have a laptop computer with Microsoft Office and a cell phone with a Bluetooth headset.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle available for use.
- May require occasional overnight stays, based on travel or loss exposure requirements.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
