Form of workOpening Full Time 40 hours Grade 052 Pharmacy SMH Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for redistributing slow moving inventory, maintaining NDC optimization and inventory levels across all of the ambulatory pharmacies. This analyst will have the ability to work as part of a team or independently to provide seamless service across our department with daily tasks in the aforementioned area. RESPONSIBILITIES: Create and maintain an NDC optimization process to ensure consistency and lessen WAC exposure across all ambulatory pharmacies.
Will require utilization of reports from multiple sources including wholesaler and pharmacy software. Use pharmacy software reports to identify slow moving inventory and redistribute it across the ambulatory pharmacies to be utilized. Will report on 180-day accumulations to ensure unreplenished 340b drug is accounted for appropriately from a financial perspective.
Use pharmacy software reports to set and maintain appropriate par and optimum levels for inventory items across all ambulatory pharmacies. Create and maintain an internal cash plan for patients across all ambulatory pharmacies. Act as a back up to the purchasing analyst during physical inventory counts.
Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree with major course work in social or technical field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Pharmacy and/or inventory related work experience Knowledge of inventory management and data analytics. Must be proficient in use of excel.
Must be able to work independently and communicate fluently via email, phone, and in-person.
