Job Title: Inventory Management Support B (1st Shift, 4/10, F-35) Job Code: SAS20230505-100483 Job Location: Malabar, FL Job Description: Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the F-35 (TR2/TR3) production kitting area, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. Within parameters, determines routing and arrangements, method of handling, size, urgency, and cost. Prepares and maintains records of products shipped and tracks shipments.
Receives incoming materials, unpacks and checks goods received against shop orders. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications. Deliver materials (complete kits) to the manufacturing work areas on a timely manner.
Lifts heavy items and may operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks upon receipt of internal kitted material. Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements. Essential Functions: Been capable to built good relationship with internal and external customers Physical handling of production flight hardware for F35 Production Good verbal and written skills Delivering of audited production ASSY kits to the production area and staged in appropriate locations Following safety protocols all the time Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior experience.
2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. Experience with Microsoft (Excel, Word and Power Point) Preferred Additional Skills: (These are additional skills and experience that would be preferred in ideal candidates but not a deal breaker) Experience with pallet jack and materials/chemicals handling OSHA certification is a plus Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus
