Job Title: Inventory Coordinator
Techwise Integrated Security is looking for an organized, motivated, and self-managed individual to serve as a Inventory Coordinator. The right candidate for this position will be able to handle working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. An Inventory Coordinator with Techwise will be in the office and the warehouse, which is a non climate controlled/construction environment, as well as on the road traveling to various job sites across the states of Virginia and North Carolina on occasion.
Responsibilities:
- Manages inventory daily, delegates task and communicates within the team. This includes implementing new procedures as necessary to accurately track incoming/outgoing material.
- Handles QR inventory and inventory management system used at TW integrated Security.
- Utilizes TW portal, our business system which tracks all service work orders, as a tool to track material usage.
- Maintaining order and updating inventory material by ensuring workflow is being performed in a timely manner and remains organized throughout the shop and with inventory procedures.
- Improves inventory management procedures, as needed; and develops balance, price and cost reports.
- Understanding the business operations to aid in overall success of the business.
- Going to job sites throughout Virginia and North Carolina to receive and check in material, and organizing material in a connex container.
- Delivering material to job sites
- Cleaning containers out at the end of projects
- Procuring unused material and restocking material used on projects
- Cleaning out company vehicles and restocking company vehicles with material
- Keeping track of what material goes to which projects or who material is given to for accountability.
- Responsible for purchasing, receiving, inspecting and tracking all materials.
- Distributes material mainly for technicians and ensures technicians are fully stocked for their week by communicating material availability and providing support.
- Conduct audits on service vehicles, hand out reminders and reports discrepancies between physical inventory counts in the ship and the inventory database.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Familiarity with Adobe PDF editor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient multi-tasking skills
- Willingness and availability to travel to project sites throughout Virginia and North Carolina
- Detail orientated and Leadership skills
- · Must be able to lift from 25 lbs to 50 lbs when handing material boxes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Electronic security/construction field project knowledge
- Inventory management skills or familiarity with role and responsibilities
- Forklift experience
- Communication skills
- Adaptability to growth in an expanding business
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Need to be available Sunday evenings for emails and phone calls
- Option of 8AM to 4PM or 9AM to 5PM with possible overtime. Schedule may require occasional travel and evenings/mornings to receive material deliveries at project locations. Occasional overnight stay maybe required depending on the scheduled time and location.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
