SalaryWe are seeking an experienced Inventory Coordinator to monitor and oversee daily warehouse controls that directly impact inventory, and to focus on work methods to improve supply chain process. Primary objectives are inventory control, maintaining traceability records, and organizing product in the warehouse to ensure FIFO is followed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintains traceability data files.
- Organizes and establishes inventory control. Organizes warehouse space to ensure FIFO can be followed. Move product to open up space for finished goods to move into.
- Maintains inventory records, documents necessary information and utilize reports to show the inventory status
- Takes weekly and monthly inventory
- Assists Warehouse Manager with development and maintenance of inventory control processes and procedures
- Evaluates warehouse receiving procedures and systems and works with Warehouse Manager to make improvements as needed.
- Replenishes stock. Monitor stock levels daily and alert the management to low inventories and stock outs
- Works with Accounting and Purchasing to ensure proper and timely supply chain documentation and reporting (Receiving documents, out-date documents, out of stock products)
- Loads products onto transfer containers at Puuhale location for Kapolei.
Normal work days are Monday to Friday, primarily 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., some Saturday work as needed. Schedule will be reviewed and up for revision once we begin operations in Kapolei Warehouse. Some travel between warehouses may be needed.
Proficiency using Windows-based application is required. High school graduate, college preferred. Three to five years warehouse/inventory/delivery experience desired, preferably in the food and beverage industry. Experience/knowledge in use of pallet jacks, forklift equipment is beneficial. Basic understanding of 3PL (third party logistics) and 5S (LEAN Methodology)
