Salary: $21.00 to $25.00/hour
8 Hour Shift - Must be available between Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 5 PM

Job Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining and auditing inventory accuracy. This includes daily cycle counting, investigation of discrepancies, and reporting findings to accounts payable. This position runs and reconciles inventory management reports, and is critical to the operations of the organization for maintaining accurate inventory.

Duties and responsibilities

• Conduct daily cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
• Runs & reconciles FPL reports
• Runs and reconciles inventory management reports
• Assists in root-cause analysis for inventory errors
• Assigns product location to all incoming items
• Conduct routine stock checks for sales
• Investigates shipping/pulling errors for other departments
• Monitors and updates company-wide inventory schedule
• Audit satellite branch via cycle counts
• Create and share standardization of bins, locations, and labeling for the warehouse
• Runs & reconciles product location audits
• Partners with warehouse supervisors to create inventory management awareness with staff

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Minimum 1 year of cycle counting and inventory management experience
• Must have a valid CA driver’s license
• Be authorized to work in the US (We are an e-verify employer)
• Proficient at interpreting mathematical information
• Notices discrepancies and inconsistencies in available information
• Be a self-starter. Clearly understanding the needs of the branch concerning cleanliness, inventory, and stocking
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
