Position Summary
The Inventory Control Manager is primarily responsible for managing inventory functions and personnel to ensure accurate transactional records for all functional and stored inventories, as well as analyzing inventory trends and pricing and implementing an inventory system to assist in forecasting, ordering, and overseeing the inventory flow for all products in the food service operation. The responsibilities of this position will continue to develop.

Salary: $62,400.00 - $80,000.00

Schedule: Full-time: Generally, Monday – Friday between 5:30am-5:00pm

Required Qualifications:
· Associate's degree in finance, accounting, supply chain management, culinary, or related field.
· Bachelor's degree in the above fields is preferred.
· Five (5) or more years of experience in the logistics, warehouse, or inventory field, plus demonstrated management qualifications, may suffice in place of a degree.
· Three to five (5) years of institutional food service; warehouse or commissary food service experience preferred.
· Proven experience as an inventory manager or similar position.
· Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
· Working knowledge of inventory management software and implementation (e.g., ERP).
· Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.
· An analytical mind with strong math skills.
· Excellent organizational and planning skills.
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Three year’s experience as a supervisor to a diverse team
· Ability to work in a diverse setting
· Reliable and trustworthy.
· Relevant qualifications (e.g., CPIM) will be a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, supply chain management, culinary, or related field.
· CBORD's Foodservice Suite experience
· Experience with unionized work group
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
· Devise ways to optimize Inventory Control procedures.
· Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw materials to identify shortages.
· Ensure product stock is adequate for all dining venues.
· Use software to monitor demand and document usage of inventory.
· Review orders to replenish stock, avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus.
· Analyze data to anticipate and forecast future needs.
· Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships.
· Collaborate with stockroom employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met.
· Report to upper management on stock levels, issues, etc.
· Analyze weekly and monthly inventory to make recommendations on product usage and shrinkage.
· Preparing inventory reports for departments.
· Orchestrating monthly physical inventory counts.
· Other logistic planning and execution projects as directed, including but not limited to future implementation of technologies.
