About the role:
The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for maintaining inventory and location accuracy of assigned materials, while maintaining quality and safety standards. Monitors execution of key processes that affect accuracy performance. Receives warranty part returns and ships parts per department request.
What you will do:
- Receive Warranty part returns: Input into TRACS as received. Assign and distribute parts to Failure Analysis (FA) Engineers. Identify Non compliant returns and notify management for fee assessment.
- Ship parts per department request: Identify requested part belongs to correct supplier for quick and accurate recovery payment. Work in conjunction with Shipping department to guarantee quick processing of request. Package parts in an adequate box or proper packaging material to prevent damage or deterioration. BIN transfer part location in TRACS to ensure accurate reporting
- Stock parts in assigned location after FA inspection: Verify correct BIN location to safeguard accurate reporting
- Pull requested parts for Service Engineering and/or Quality for Top 20 investigations: Stage parts for inspection per request.
- Scrap parts per 90 day hold policy: Dispose of parts in appropriate location. BIN transfer part location in TRACS to ensure accurate reporting.
- Forklift daily checks/inspection: Maintain forklift batteries. Notify management if issue is found.
- Maintain tidy work area: Sweep shop and dispose of trash.
What you need to have:
- 2-7 years inventory w/warehouse experience combination, and/or degree in relevant field w/equivalent work experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Requires good verbal and written communications skills along with a demonstrated teamwork attitude.
- Understand and follow all safety & environmental procedures and requirements.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Aptitude for accurate clerical parts control.
- Ability to maintain effective business relationships with stakeholders in all areas of operations.
- Competent with web-based research tools and the Microsoft Office suite.
What would be nice to have:
- Forklift certificate of completion
- Excellent analytical and valuation skills, with a strong process orientation
- Mechanical aptitude, experience with automotive and/or forklift parts
