The Inventory Associate is a key part in maintaining optimum levels of inventory and required materials needed to meet customer delivery requirements. The Inventory Associate will be responsible for receiving and tracking a large and diversified inventory of components/parts for the manufacture of particle accelerators.
Skills/Requirements:

Experience/Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. One year of warehouse/stockroom experience.
3. Willing to training the right person with a good attitude and adaptability. (Pay is based upon experience.)
Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to lift 40 pounds.
2. Ability to perform operations of manual dexterity while standing.
3. Ability to reach and bend to place or remove objects on storage shelves, often while on a step ladder or step stool.
Essential Duties:
1. Receive and unpack incoming shipments of merchandise from external vendors.
2. Process and return items that were damaged in shipment or do not meet quality standards.
3. Maintain an accurate record of all inventory items, including data entry and record management.
4. Determine which items require Quality Assurance Department inspection and which items require MSDS labeling.
5. Stock shelves with new merchandise and remove outdated items.
6. Assist customers with locating specific items.
7. Assign stock (components/parts) to active work orders.
8. Complete daily physical inventory and year-end cycle counts.
9. Other duties as needed.
