We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and updating the system with product information, quantities, and other relevant data. Your keen attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the smooth operation of our dispensary.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain accurate inventory data in the database or inventory management system.
- Coordinate with inbound and outbound teams to ensure timely and accurate entry of new inventory items.
- Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with the system records, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels, alerting the inventory manager of low stock or potential shortages.
- Generate reports on inventory status, sales trends, and product performance as requested.
- Assist with inventory-related tasks, such as labeling, tagging, and organizing products.
- Follow all compliance and regulatory requirements regarding inventory tracking and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Accounting,Finance or Business Administration (college education in accounting or related field is a plus).
- Prior experience in data entry or inventory management, preferably in a retail or dispensary setting.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work with numbers and large datasets.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems Google Suite and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
