EMPLOYEE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
TITLE: Inventory Associate
DEPT: Inventory
SUPERVISOR: Operations Manager
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Inventory associate will be responsible for the receiving, cataloging, verification, and storage of incoming goods. The Inventory associate will use the tools and processes available to complete these tasks as well as make appropriate changes to these processes as needed or directed. In addition, the Inventory Associate will perform inventory related processes, such as: SAP inputs, warehouse map updating, and spot-check inventory counts as needed.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform SAP tasks as needed:
- Creating Purchase Requests
- New Item Entry into SAP
- Receiving and Issuing Items in SAP
- Creating Sourcing Items in SAP
- In House Purchase Processing
- Coordinate the receipt of ocean vessel deliveries, including: QC and verification, label creation, discrepancy reporting, and storage.
- Perform miscellaneous inventory counts as needed.
- Update warehouse map as needed.
REQUIREMENTS - KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Strong proficiency in basic math concepts and calculations
- Basic understanding of inventory management techniques
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and goal oriented with ability to work well with minimal supervision
- Excellent time-management skills is a must
- Forklift certification
COMPENSATION:
- $21.00 / hr
