Summary
The Inventory Associate at Jorgensen Laboratories is responsible for overseeing and maintaining inventory levels at our main location to allow for maximum efficiency in order pulling. Your role with include working with all aspects of the warehouse at both locations. It involves inventory transfers, unloading trucks and filling shelves. This position will serve a vital role in the efficiency of our order pulling and inventory.
Description
- Organize, order and fill inventory locations at main warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensures that inventory is present and ready for use.
- Work alongside the other Inventory Associate to receive incoming trucks and distribute products to pullers.
- Identify and investigate possible inventory issues with necessary people.
- Conduct inventory counts on ad hoc and/or regular basis.
- Communicates any inventory issues in accurate and timely manner.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure prompt and accurate restocking of the inventory to the storage locations.
- Will also include any other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
- Inventory receiving or warehousing background is a major plus.
- Ability to learn and adapt as the position grows and changes.
- High school diploma or equivalent in experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to respond quickly and professionally to changing requirements.
- Ability to work on a team.
- Knowledge, understanding and commitment to follow and comply with all safety practices.
- Reliable attendance.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- This will involve physical activities, such as lifting and moving items. Working in a warehouse or storage facility, and the role requires standing for extended periods and exposure to variable temperatures. Lifting 30-50 lbs. occasionally.

- The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
