The Inventory Assistant is responsible for reviewing various reports to ensure accurate inventory levels. Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties to support the management of inventory for assigned are as you.
Primary Duties
- Learn relevant local and company requirements, rules and procedures. Strictly follows rules and guidelines and always uses the right procedure for the job. Promptly reports incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions or processes. SKNA employees regardless of level, position or tenure are responsible for upholding the safety standards regulations and policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and investigate any discrepancies
- Maintain logs and file documents
- Conduct daily inventory analysis
- Forecast updates and accuracy analysis
- Organizes and maintain materials in storage areas
- May be assigned to other projects and duties
Job Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience related to inventory, asset or warehouse management or other applicable experience
- Must possess excellent computer and math skills, Strong MS Excel skills and Oracle experience a plus
- Experience gathering and organizing information, timely reporting, forecasting and anticipating production needs
- Proven communication (written and verbal), organizational and time management skills.
- Detail- oriented and data-driven critical thinker
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Must work well with staff, management, and vendors
- Must be self-motivated and work well unsupervised or as part of a team
- Experience working with internal and external entities to accomplish daily/monthly/yearly objectives
- Able to work flexible hours
- High School Diploma /GED required
