The Inventory Allocation and Deployment Analyst will focus on the elevation of analytics and modeling to elevate the delivery of optimal inventory deployment across all business channels by analyzing channel sales and inventory trends, deploying inventory to stores and optimizing Inventory Allocation across channels to maximize in stock and inventory productivity.  The role plays an important role in supporting inventory needs for all channels of business (retail, wholesale, ecommerce) serving our customer needs to ensure we have the right product, at the right place at the right time to meet consumer demand. 

The role will report directly to the Sr Manager, Inventory Planning & Analysis, elevating both regular and ad-hoc reporting, setting operational inventory parameters (safety stock reviews, re-distribution frequency, “sister store” transfer model, optimized store fulfillment for ecomm, etc) and inventory management needs of the business balancing analytics and execution considerations.  Key skills include analytical acumen, modeling / reporting, principles of forecasting and exception based thinking.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain daily/weekly inventory snapshots by channel to inform Inventory Allocation
  • Evolve and operate retail replenishment model to support weekly orders on all product inventory
  • Build strategy for store fulfillment of ecomm orders
  • Execute inventory transfers and adjustments as needed for product lifecycle and inventory optimization
  • Build and deliver assortment for off-cycle eventing opportunities to drive topline sales, in conjunction with Eventing Team
  • Manage reverse logistics based on lifecycle status
  • Create and deliver data analysis/reporting to support Sr. Manager on purchasing 
  • Maintain planning master data (Netsuite, GS1)  – SKU’s, BOM’s, Attributes, UPC’s, Pricing; regular audits to ensure data integrity
  • Create and manage inventory Purchase Orders and Work Orders
  • Monitor production and shipment status from international locations, communicating any issues that would impact delivery and instock
  • Coordinate with the Fulfillment and Product teams to ensure timely inbound allocations

Value & Skill Profile:

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and inventory planning software
  • Demonstrated skill in statistical and/or sales and inventory modeling
  • Visualization and report building 
  • Proven work experience in planning function, finance, retail operations supporting a retail brand/environment 
  • ERP experience – NetSuite a plus
  • Ability to execute at a high level with mastery of on-time deliverable
  • Strong and concise oral, written, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Organized and self-sufficient at managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with a team in a fast-paced setting
  • An independent, proactive drive to quickly and efficiently complete tasks and project
  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical field (business, engineering, stats, economics) 
  • 3+ years of experience in related role desired
  • Consumer goods, fashion industry experience
