Interventional Radiology Tech-IR needed in Cape Girardeau,Missouri.As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing specialized imaging procedures under the guidance of a radiologist. Your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, ensuring optimal patient care in the Interventional Radiology setting.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Additional certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) is desirable.

Responsibilities:

1. Procedure Preparation and Set-Up:

   • Prepare and set up the Interventional Radiology suite, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
   • Verify patient identification, medical history, and procedure requisitions.

2. Equipment Operation:

   • Operate and maintain complex Interventional Radiology equipment, including fluoroscopy and angiography systems.
   • Ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning properly, reporting any issues promptly.

3. Patient Positioning and Monitoring:

   • Position patients for Interventional Radiology procedures, providing comfort and maintaining safety.
