Position Overview:
The Dometic Internship Program is a professional learning experience that offers meaningful, practical work related to a student's field of study or career interest. Our program gives students the opportunity to collaborate with team members, to have a meaningful project that allows you to have impact, career exploration and development, to learn new skills, and get to know other interns.
Main responsibilities:
Design Engineer Intern is responsible for design, validation and documentation for assigned tasks. This intern will work side-by-side with PD engineer to support the development of the Red Giant Product.
It is anticipated that these tasks will be designing subassemblies for a family of sanitation products. Tasks will include:
- Use CAD to design components and sub-assemblies
- 3D printing and prototyping will permit the intern to realize and evaluate design
Requirements
- Actively enrolled in a college or university seeking a degree. The following programs are preferred: ME
- Microsoft 365 Office Suite, Visio, Solidworks or CAD (preferred)
- 2nd or 3rd Year Completed
