International Tax Senior

A professional services firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as their new International Tax Senior.
Responsibilities:
The International Tax Senior will:

• Research, complete and review technical areas, particularly in International affairs and advising
• Address questions on technical accounting matters from team members and upper level client management
• Perform a detailed review of team's workflow and monitors tasks to ensure they are assigned and completed on a timely basis
• Manage multiple assignments inside an engagement
• Communicate with Partner, Manager and/or Supervising Senior on work status and client issues that arise
• Participate in planning and execution of client engagement
• Identify opportunities to leverage staff, including designing staffing structure of engagement
• Lead small to medium sized assignments with finalized document and report requiring minimal change upon review
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Accounting or Taxation
• CPA or parts passed
• Advanced technical preparation and intermediate review skills in one of the industries firm services (i.e. Real Estate, High Net Worth, Manufacturing & Distribution, Nonprofit, etc.)
• Working knowledge of CCH Axcess, GFR, Engagement, etc.
• Microsoft Office proficient
• Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
