SalaryALMACO in Nevada, IA is seeking individuals with experience in technical client support or international shipping. We are excited to hire someone in an International Parts and Shipping Support role, which will work with logistics, shipping, international customs brokers, and international clients to facilitate international parts sales and delivery logistics for our seed research equipment..
You will be a great fit for this position if you enjoy talking to people on the phone and helping them resolve any issues, you are a natural when it comes to building processes and maintaining accuracy in the details, and you understand the need to support the client at the highest level and delight the client in every interaction.
This position is a full-time position with flexible day shift hours.

Opportunities in this position:
- You'll own the international shipping process - this is a big job because each country has a different process, which can change quickly. You'll need to use your best judgment with the information we have to accurately and quickly ship parts to our clients.
- You'll provide support to clients on the phone and in emails regarding their international parts ordering.
- You'll initiate parts order shipments, review, and update shipping status to ensure accurate delivery and thorough communication internally and with clients.
- You'll maintain related documentation, records, and reporting.
- You'll create commercial invoices and compare them with parts shipped to catch any discrepancies.
- As time allows, you will help with the client phone support team to process domestic parts orders, answer client calls, and assist clients who are seeking product information or troubleshooting.
An ideal candidate would have:
- A 2-year degree or certification, or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience with international shipping or logistics, parts ordering, or a related technical role.
- The ability to prioritize, organize, and execute work independently.
- The ability and desire to build processes and use problem-solving skills to find the best outcomes.
- An excellent manner with clients so they feel appreciated, respected, and cared for.
Base requirements for the position are:
- A High School Degree or equivalent.
- Work experience related to customer service, technical support, mechanical trouble-shooting, assembly, or similar administrative tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
- The ability to use a phone to speak with clients and use a computer to email and maintain records and databases.
- A valid Driver's License and a driving record that meets insurance standards.
