International Logistics And Compliance Manager

We are looking to fill a 1st shift position in our International Sales Department. Below are the preferred skills, duties, and responsibilities you will have performing as our International Logistics and Compliance Manager.

Position Summary:

As the International Logistics and Compliance Manager you will be responsible for ensuring international exports of defense articles are compliant and up to date. The International Logistics and Compliance Manager will also be responsible for overseeing a number of outbound shipments, which includes ensuring all licensing and paperwork is in order and applied.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• On-going communication with the international sales managers, stakeholders, international shipping coordinator, and other key production managers within the organization to ensure common understanding of immediate issues affecting the throughput of the international delivery schedule.
• Understand and execute daily operations using sales process tree.
• Applying DDTC or BIS licenses for defense articles exported internationally by the organization.
• Remain up-to-date and compliant with any current or new regulations brought by DDTC and BIS.
• Regularly monitor U.S. State and Commerce department licensing websites to track progress of license applications.
• Ensure licenses are in place for ITAR related customer visits.
• Track temporary licenses and timely return of products to LMT.
• Complete shipping documentation for international orders.
• Collect payment from agents and/or customers related to international orders.
• Track daily and weekly dispositions of international orders with inventory control.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma, high school equivalency degree (HSED), or general education degree (GED) is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with INFOR systems are strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.
• Must have good attention to detail and good reasoning skills to spot errors quickly and report them to the most relevant staff.
• Ability to prepare reports that reflect findings and recommendations on strategic plans.
• Should resemble a proactive demeanor to monitor progress of sales orders through departments and take action to move things forward in a timely manner.
