INTERNAL AUDITOR
The Internal Auditor is responsible for monitoring compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations and statues for the Casino. This position will utilize the Internal Audit Program and Risk Assessment Methodology to document standardized audits and evaluate risk. Abides by the Internal Audit Charter in execution of daily audit activities while maintaining independence and objectivity. Additionally, the Internal Auditor will provide support to the Corporate Director of Internal Audit.

- Ensures that all gaming operations maintain compliance with Louisiana Gaming regulations and Internal Controls.
- Ensures that all Resort operations maintain compliance with department SOP’s, and local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of the annual Audit Plan.
- Identify and report to business unit management and executive management results of audits and independent reviews including noted deficiencies, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Maintain an onsite audit presence to build rapport with the General Manager and Senior Management.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of industry requirements regarding Gaming and Hospitality.
- Develop thorough understanding of procedures for all areas of responsibility.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by Management.
- Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Requires a flexible work schedule that will include some early morning, evening and weekend work.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED)
- Bachelor degree of Business, Finance, Accounting, Communications, Gaming Management, or Hospitality is preferred
- Two years prior experience in audit or compliance is preferred
- Audit profession related certifications such as CIA, CFSA, CFE, CISA, or CRMA is preferred
- Must have thorough understanding and familiarity with Title 31, BSA, AML, KYC, and OFAC
- Preferred understanding of gaming protection and how businesses (Table Games, Slot Operations, Cage, Surveillance, Security, et. al.) within the gaming industry operate
- Must have understanding of basic Risk Management methodologies
- Must be able to evaluate statistical reports and other business reports
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally; ability to write routine business correspondence
- Must have the ability to resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and judicious manner
- Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license
- Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of background investigation and drug screening
- Must be 21 years of age
