This position is a key member of the accounting team for Frito-Lay US. This role is responsible for managing accounting for raw materials and finished goods inventory for Frito-Lay US. The Analyst works closely with global procurement, supply chain and supply chain finance teams on various inventory analysis and projects. This position provides the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with numerous career growth opportunities at Frito-Lay and other divisions of PepsiCo.
- Assist with period-end close procedures including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with Frito- Lay accounting team on various transactions
- Maintain internal control procedures and ensure compliance with SOX requirements for assigned accounts
- Support external audit requests
- Complete ad hoc projects as requested
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1.5+ years of experience in Financial Audit/External Audit
- CPA or CPA candidate (must have passed at least 2 sections of the exam)
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and collaborative
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management skills, self-directed, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $61,700 - $103,250 based on a full-time schedule
- Sign-On bonus
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually
