REPORTS TO:Trade Area Marketing Manager
FLSA: Non-exempt, $18 hourly
LOCATION: New York, NY – Hybrid
PROGRAM SCHEDULE: June 3rd – August 9th
INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW: The Trade Area Marketing team is primarily responsible for the execution of business and marketing initiatives within vendor distribution and the achievement of overall company objectives within a given budget. The Trade Area Marketing Intern will assist in the execution of all trade marketing programs including fragrance launches activations and core business activations. ICP is the exclusive marketer and distributor of luxury fragrance brands in the Americas. The company’s portfolio includes The House of Creed, Floris London and Mizensir. This role will provide outstanding support through productivity, organization, and creativity. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & PROJECTS
- Track all new trade marketing opportunities
- Implement and maintain activation tracker up-to-date
- Update Field Team activation calendar with new opportunities
- Assist in ordering collateral for visual and sampling programs
- Monitor retailer websites to ensure PDP is up-to-date
- Capture all seasonal exposure for monthly web reports
- Monitor competitive in-store activations
- Assist in any ad hoc trade marketing activities and support the marketing team when needed
- Coordinate gifting for new launches to key retailer partners
Under the guidance of the Trade Marketing Manager, assist with creation of Fall activation calendar and tracker.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate must be eager to learn, curious, proactive and detail oriented.
The ideal candidate will be a matriculating junior or senioror above in college with the following:
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Basic understanding of B2B marketing
- Experience in the luxury and or beauty industry a plus
- First experience in trade marketing/marketing
- Strong interest in the fragrance industry
