We are in need of a Supply Chain Intern to help the team evolve and support our growing business. The Supply Chain team currently is responsible for managing our Production Planning and the Procurement of any outsourced components and sub-components. In this role, you will be involved in multiple key initiatives, ranging from internal production efficiency analysis, such as inventory control, to working directly with our suppliers to improve delivery and quality performance, lead times, etc.
Primary Duties Include:
- Support data analysis and generate improvement recommendations to our Approved Supplier database process
- Analyze supplier information and purchased part set-up for accuracy
- Supplier segmentation to identify optimal supply mix
- Working with Planning team and Sourcing Engineers on special projects
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
- Working towards a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, engineering, logistics, or a related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.0+;
- Positive customer service driven attitude
- Ability to preserve the confidentiality of information
- Strong interpersonal skills; proficient at MS Word/Excel; excellent written and oral communication skills; independent worker and team player
