Job Summary: Under the direction of the building principal, is responsible for helping to enable each student to pursue his or her education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. 2023-2024 Rate of Pay:
$185.00 / Full Day (7.5 hours)

Qualifications:
- Current Snohomish School District student teacher
- Willingness to complete the OSPI application for Intern Substitute Certificate (Please note that OSPI charges a $57 application fee for the Intern Substitute Certificate)
- Demonstrated ability to employ effective teaching methods
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective classroom management
- Experience with, knowledge of, or commitment to the following is highly desired: Team-oriented teaching, integrated instruction, inclusion model, active learning/cooperative learning, and developmentally appropriate instruction
