The Opportunity:
As a Finance BP&A Intern you will:

• Conduct financial analysis to derive trends, drivers, metrics, and other characteristics to provide structure and guidance in business decision making.

• Utilize Financial Systems (Anaplan, SAP & others) and Excel to create financial reports and models. Help narrate story behind the numbers.

• Obtain in-depth understanding of key expense drivers and identify efficiencies to increase profitability
• Collaborate cross functionally to help prepare for annual operating plan discussions (divisionals) meetings with leadership and key company executives.

• Participate in other ad-hoc projects to support the Finance team.
• Present recommendations to Finance leadership on-going basis and prior to the end of the internship.
• Network with industry leaders and peers. Our Sephora executives are committed to investing in our interns and want to hear from you. Interns can expect to attend meetings with top leaders in the company.
• Get exposure to cross-functional teams. Sephora has a highly collaborative culture, so you are encouraged and expected to work closely with other related teams such as Retail Planning, Operation Analytics, Marketing, Legal, HR, Facilities, Sustainability, Merchandising and more.

We're excited about you if you have:

• 3+ years of undergraduate coursework in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
• Understanding of the Income Statement and financial concepts through coursework or prior experiences
• Eager to learn, positive attitude, highly motivated
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills, or the willingness to learn and improve
• Excellent communication skills - can effectively and accurately in writing and presentations

The target hourly pay for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
