JOB PURPOSE: The People Operations Intern role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of People Operations within a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with a passion for learning and contributing to the success of our team and organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in administrating and enhancing HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- Support the HR team in managing and updating employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Help organize and coordinate internal events, training sessions, and wellness initiatives.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct research on HR trends and best practices to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide logistical support for recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of HR metrics and reports.
- Engage in special projects and initiatives as needed, providing innovative ideas and solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience, Education, and Licensure
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the field of human resources and People Operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of HRIS systems is a plus but not required.
Language Skills
- Ability to communicate verbally/written in a professional manner.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to work with numbers and calculations.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to analyze complex data and information.
