Overview
This hybrid position will be located at our Corporate Office in New York.
As an Intern, you will learn about the retail and e-commerce industry, participate in a collaborative business project corporate training, meet the Leadership Team, and attend fun virtual events.

Responsibilities
As a Paid Media intern, you will...
- Gain insight into the different marketing channels and how they work together to find current and prospective customers, drive brand love, and ultimately convert to sales. Channels mainly include paid social, paid search, affiliate, email, sms, and some partnerships.
- Influence the content briefs to ensure they cover the best practices for our media plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work alongside our channel expert teams and their agencies to partner with platforms like Meta and TikTok to understand how they deliver on short and long-term goals
- Provide general administrative support to the media team
- Work with brand teams to understand briefing process and how that informs our media timelines, strategies, and tactics
- Participate in creating the media plans for seasonal campaigns, ie- Back to School and Holiday, as well as participate in the ongoing analysis and optimization of always-on performance media.
- Get hands on reporting experience with our media dashboard, which is used to inform our business leads each week on opportunity to adjust spend based on performance.
- Analyze weekly media performance and provide insights/optimizations based on the data.
- Own budget management based on optimizations.
- Conduct research on trends to identify industry trends, competitor strategies, and consumer insights
Qualifications
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:
To qualify for an internship with Foot Locker, individuals must:
- Arrange the internship with the educational institution on a for-credit basis, if necessary.
- Be 18+ years of age at the start of the internship.
- Be available to participate the entire length of program (May 13th - July 26th).
- Be available to work Monday-Friday (40 hours/week).
- Be familiar with and have used Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Access, etc.).
- Able to commute to the designated Foot Locker Office 1-2 days a week during the intern program (you'll receive guidance on exact days to come in from your manager).
GENERAL:
- Detail oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated experience working independently and in a team environment.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to take direction effectively.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively and accurately in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Comfort and willingness to learn new tools and software. Excel proficiency a plus.
