The Intern, Organizational Development will learn the theory and practical applications of Organizational Development (OD) strategies to improve organizational excellence.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Explore how OD can influence employee engagement, align individual and team performance with company goals, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to setting and achieving targeted goals and objectives related to OD principles and best practices.
  • Assist with developing, administering, and maintaining tools, templates, and training materials to support a structured approach to OD goals.
  • Support the execution of Organizational Development assessments and assist with the preparation of plans and support various departments to achieve successful outcomes for planned OD initiatives, projects, and other business changes.
  • Act as an additional member of the Organizational Development team by collaborating on cross-functional projects to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization for continuous improvement, while enhancing individual learning experience as an intern.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience: Student Currently enrolled in an accredited university degree program that focuses on human behavior in the workplace, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communications, or any other relevant field entering their junior or senior year
Skills:
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to be self-directed
  • Must be detail conscious, responsible, dependable, and able to work well in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management and relationship building skills
  • Self-starter and creative with ability to learn new methodologies and processes.
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships.
  • MS SharePoint working knowledge
  • Graphic design and video creation interest and/or experience creating training and reference materials.
  • Project Management coursework or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work decisively by being timely and self-motivated
  • Ability to think external by fostering curiosity to learn and explore new and creative ideas
