Responsibilities for this Position
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
Apply your classroom-learned skills to a program supporting the defense of our country. GDMS has an immediate opening for an Administration Intern to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. This position will support program teams supporting the efforts
The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on various projects of the GDMS organization and its clients. In addition to receiving a competitive wage, the Administration Intern will enhance their skill set by working among a talented and technically accomplished group of colleagues. Some of the opportunities you will have a chance to learn as a Supply Chain Management / Logistics Intern:
- Property Management for a globally deployed network of sensors
Shipping, receiving, and tracking of Government Procured Equipment
Supply Chain Procurement
Support Operation and Maintenance of Nuclear Monitoring Stations
Work on a diverse range of low to mid-level complexity problems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite tools (Excel, Word etc.)
Superior attention-to-detail skills
Strong computer skills, familiarity with QuickBooks, and ability to learn Procurement Applications/Tools
Strong administrative, organizational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
Basic knowledge of logistics operations and procurement practices and principles
Professional acumen and general business awareness
This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
Combined Salary Range
USD $29.15 - USD $29.15 /Yr.
