The JM Family College Internship program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program, you will actively contribute to your team's success. You will learn about JM Family's companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities, networking events, and more.
The ideal candidate will be available to work full-time hours during the Summer Internship Program (June 3, 2024 - August 9, 2024).
This internship will include projects and tasks related to Logistics and Trucking and the overall life cycle of a car at SET.
Responsibilities:
- Research, investigate, and analyze information regarding inventory processing and movement.
- Partner with contracted carriers to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of vehicles.
- Complete administrative tasks and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper vehicle flow.
- Identify areas for process improvement and develop long-term solutions to modernize current logistics operations.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure tasks are completed.
Qualifications:
- This is a full-time, in-person position
- Ideal candidates will be actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university focusing on Logistics or Supply Chain (qualified candidates actively enrolled for a degree in a related field will also be considered). They must have completed at least one semester of classes.
