- The Intern, Legal will assist with projects within Ventra's in-house corporate legal department, including (i) reviewing, drafting, and logging contracts; (ii) reviewing, organizing and tracking various consents documents; (iii) performing general corporate maintenance and other compliance related activities; and (iv) conducting legal research regarding various legal healthcare and compliance related topics.
- The majority of services may be performed remotely, but some in-office time may also be required.
- Perform Legal Research.
- Review and log both customer and vendor agreements.
- Assist with drafting confidentiality agreements, vendor contracts, and customer contracts.
- Draft legal correspondence and reports.
- Manage state filings and business licenses.
- Assist with various legal and compliance related projects.
- Bachelor's degree and currently pursuing a Juris Doctorate degree via an accredited law program.
- Contract review/management, corporate legal or healthcare related experience preferred.
- Well-organized with excellent attention to detail.

- Ability to read, understand, and apply state/federal laws, regulations, and policies.

- Base Compensation for this position: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
- Base Compensation will be based on various factors unique to each candidate including geographic location, skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons
- This position is also eligible for discretionary performance bonuses in accordance with company policies
