WHAT YOU WILL DO
Landscape architecture interns will work with experienced Landscape Architects and Designers to bring their classroom knowledge to the real world and assist in design efforts for a variety of projects and clients. Some areas of work may include analysis and research, field studies, production of design graphics using CAD or other software, detail design, developing planting palettes and plans, assisting in the design and documentation process, and conducting materials and building systems research.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Landscape Architecture degree program and will be entering final year of course work as a BLA student, or have completed 2 years course work as an MLA student
- Possess an interest in science-based or evidence-based design
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Revit
- Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills
- $21-23 per hour
