The International Tax - Global Mobility Intern is a position supporting our Global Mobility Tax consultants and tax professionals around the firm. In this position, the Intern will work under the supervision and guidance of International Tax Global Mobility leadership on daily responsibilities and projects.
How you will contribute:
- Learning aspects of Global Mobility Services, with a focus on individual income tax compliance, including tax consulting and planning; social security tax compliance; as well as withholding tax implications for employees/employers and other high net worth individuals working in and out of the U.S.
- Working with other professionals within our Tax Specialty Services for the effective diagnosis, solution, development, and implementation of tax solutions
- Helping to prepare draft tax compliance while assisting in the delivery of client projects as well as utilizing the quantitative analysis to solve issues that arise
- Assisting with U.S. tax reporting for international transactions, including the informational foreign reporting for such
- Working with computer programs such as TaxCaddy, SurePrep, GoSystems and other Microsoft Programs to assist with client deliverables
- Delivering the FORVIS' commitment to unmatched client experience (UCX) through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients

Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing an Accounting Degree
- Solid technical accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates within 2 years of completing their Bachelor's Degree
- Interested in pursuing the CPA License
- Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall)
