Summary
The Software Engineering Intern collaborates with the business and IT teams in support of solution development, system support, and continuous improvement initiatives. Aligned with TRIMEDX' Vision, Mission and Values, this individual will perform in an Agile development environment, working with Solutions ("Product") Managers, business leaders, internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, user experience designers, and/or senior software developers.

The following are the areas of responsibility the Software Engineering Intern will be exposed in some capacity:
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives that benefit IT and the business within the identified applications.
- Relationship Management: Assists in efforts to build relationships and maintain current relationships with business stakeholders.
- Sprint Coordination: Attend sprint planning and backlog refinement meetings to build out the team's backlog of work.
- Design and Development: Design and develop features with a focus on usability through a close relationship with business &product owners and a solid understanding of the end user needs.
- Code Reviews: Take responsibility for code quality and use of best practices across the development team through code reviews.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
- Experience with Javascript development
- Possess quantitative and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to support routine analysis
- Ability to perform in a fast paced, and dynamic and ambiguous business environment
- Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
- Experience with the ServiceNow software platform is a plus
Education and Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor's degree required
